How rankings are produced

Every ranking starts from a published rubric: named criteria with fixed weights. Each product is scored per criterion against evidence captured from its pricing page, docs, and store listings, with the source and capture date recorded. The ranking is the weighted total of those scores; writers explain the result, they do not pick it.

AI involvement

Some articles are drafted by AI research assistants and reviewed by people. Each byline says which, and every ranking publishes its methodology.
